Resources
The Children’s Environmental Rights Initiative (CERI), in partnership with children and young people, continues to develop trainings, tools, reports and other resources to advance children’s environmental rights.
Trainings
Our Rights, Our Planet Training
A free training for young people to learn about and stand up for their environmental rights! It is available online and offline and features interviews with activists, scientists and experts from around the world, animated lessons, as well as an interactive game.
Tools
Guidance on the reporting to the Committee on the Rights of the Child
This tool provides guidance on reporting of children’s environmental rights for States’ periodic reviews under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). It can also be used to support reporting with other environmental agreements, such as the Paris Agreement and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is available in English, French and Spanish.
Reports
Regional Consultations on Children's Right to a Healthy Environment
A series of outcome reports from regional intergenerational consultations with children, young people, decision-makers and other key stakeholders across the world on their environmental rights. Reports will inform a Global Charter on Children's Rights and the Environment, a set of key guiding principles on children’s rights and the environment for States and other stakeholders.
